Pink Aura Meaning and Chakra Link

In the world of aura colors, I’ve found that there are certain colors that are misunderstood because societal assumptions differ from chakra energy. The pink aura meaning is one such color.

As background, my name is Lillie and I’m a certified Boston energy worker and Reiki trainer who has done hands-on work with hundreds of clients since 2018. My specialty is being able to see each person’s unique energy colors, which can then help balance chakras during our session.

Societal vs. Energetic Associations

Now, in American society, we tend to associate the color pink with love and femininity. However, in my experience, that doesn’t correlate with the chakra colors of the body’s energy centers at all.

First, as we saw in our article about signs of blocked feminine energy, the chakra that is most connected with female power is actually the orange 2nd Sacral Chakra (located right below the navel). It’s not pink!

Second, as we saw in our green aura meaning analysis, the color of the heart chakra — associated with compassionate and caring love — is actually green. Yes, there are some sources that say that 4th Heart Chakra is pink as well as green, but that has never once been my experience, working with countless clients.

It also wouldn’t make logical sense with the rainbow order of the energy centers up the spine from red to purple since it would be out of order. (See my article on the white aura meaning for more nuance on this.)

Pink Aura Meaning

So if a pink aura isn’t about femininity or caring love, what is its interpretation? For this, we need to remember that pink is actually a lighter version of red, and thus back up and review the chakra with a red aura.

A Light Red Chakra

If you recall, the Red 1st Root Chakra (located at the base of the spine) is connected with a firm foundation, and feeling of safety and grounding. One of the benefits of Reiki is the practitioner and client can talk during the session to create meaning together, and I find that when clients of mine have a pink aura, it’s essentially a less vibrant version of a red aura.

In other words, the pink aura meaning is that the person who has it is in the emerging stages of building a sense of safety and firm foundation in their life. A great next step, upon realizing this, is to discuss ways to continue this positive trajectory to strengthen that grounding red energy through exploring what helps them feel safe in life, and also solidly connected with the earth. Magenta Auras

Now, I am speaking so far here about when there is a pink aura that is the color of a light red — but what about a magenta aura that is more of a fuchsia purple-red hue? The summary of that is that magneta indicates a positive activation of the entire chakra system, demonstrating positive energy flow for emotional and physical processing.
