In the world of aura colors, what is a gold aura meaning? How does it correspond with the traditional chakra system of energy centers in the body? Let’s find out!
As background, I’m a Boston Reiki therapy practitioner named Lillie who has done hands-on work with hundreds of clients since 2018, and specializes in aura color work. Is There a Golden Chakra?
We learned in our chakra colors article that each energy center of the body is traditionally associated with a different color of the rainbow, and that this information helps us interpret an aura. So, which chakra color is gold?
Well, there are two answers to this. First, if you interpret gold as a form of yellow, it connects with the 3rd or Solar Plexus Chakra. The yellow aura and chakra is all about self-confidence and self love.
Second, gold is sometimes associated with the lesser-known energy center which is located ABOVE the head: the Soul Star Chakra. This chakra is often seen as silver and gold, and is connected with extremely powerful spiritual and universal energy.

Gold Aura Meaning
Just as we saw with our purple aura meaning analysis, when there are two different chakra connections with a color, we need to think carefully about how they come together. In my Reiki practice, I do this by having in-depth conversations with clients during and after our session, to help integrate the parts.
From these in-person conversations and watching the energy flow, I tend to have the following interpretation of a golden aura meaning: It indicates a person who has a beautifully vibrant sense of self-confidence and self love — also infused with that special sparkle of connection universal energy and spiritual awareness, as with a white aura.
